OK, now what?

Now being a person blessed with a Type 'A' personality, the things we love most are planning and research. I took the information from Lazydays and spent the next month figuring out what the value of the coaches would be, what advantages/disadvantages to look for, where the best place to keep the RV would be, covered storage vs. non-covered storage and the list goes on.

I must have read 10,000 web sites, two books and talked (ok, ok, pestered) everyone I knew (which was not a long list) that owned any type of RV. I finally came up with the quintessential decision of the 'perfect' family RV and what price we should pay for such RV.

Our decision came down to two Fleetwood RVs. One of them was a 2004 Fleetwood Revolution diesel RV owned by a private owner and the other was a 2006 gas Fleetwood Pace Arrow at Lazydays. The price difference between the two was $1.00. We went to Lazydays one more time to write down all of the pros and cons of the Pace Arrow and go for a test drive. Afterwards, we met the private owner and walked through the Revolution. We were really torn between the two coaches, but it seemed like the private owner was a guy who bought an RV and never really learned anything about it. Every question I seemed to ask, the answer was 'I dunno' or 'Gee, I never did that'.

We felt that based on the fact that this would be our first purchase, we would really benefit from having Lazydays teach us everything about RVing and their - 'Customer for Life' slogan really made us feel secure. We called them the next day and said "ok, we'll take it".
