The Search Begins - Type 'A' Personality Finds an RV

Our adventure begins one Saturday when I said to GeeGee, "Hey wouldn't it be fun to get an RV?". Living here in beautiful Tampa Bay, we headed down to the local Lazydays RV super center and began our search for the family RV.

The only thing we knew at that point is that we wanted a Class A motor home since our family has three adults, one teen and one seven year old. We didn't currently own a vehicle that could tow a 5th wheel, so we figured that a Class A would be our best option.

The Lazydays salesperson was very nice and spent an entire afternoon giving us a tour of about 10 different coaches. She asked us several questions first and then gave us lots of advice on the length and features that just might interest us and helped with the decision between gas vs diesel engines.

We left the dealership with lots of brochures and fantasies began brewing in our heads of perfect idyllic trips in the woods on crystal blue days...
