RV Inspection?

With the salesman so excited he can hardly stand it, the closing date was soon pressed. I had a horse show to attend the next weekend (Sept 4-7th), but I was assured that everything would be ready to go in 3 days. This made me REALLY nervous. I did not even know how to drive a 38' behemoth and the idea of taking it by myself to a show in Jacksonville was daunting!

The thought was just too nerve-wracking, so the closing date of September 13th was established and Mom and I began shopping! With the closing date approaching, I began to read about horror stories of the Lazydays Pre-delivery inspection (or should I say, lack thereof) and decided that I should hire an RV inspector to go out and make sure everything was in order before the close. That was the best decision I ever made! Keep in mind, that I was originally told that the RV was 'ready to go' on 9/3, so the inspector should have found nothing. Boy was that naive of me! I received a list of 27 items (some minor, some not so minor) of things wrong with the RV. There were two cracks in each skylight and the washer/dryer didn't even work! I was assured again by Lazydays that my inspector just had a grudge and everything would now be fixed by Saturday's close.
